My name is Joanna Lindenbaum and I am the creator of the Applied Depth Practitioner Institute & the Sacred Depths Transformational Practitioner Certification.
I believe with every fiber of my being that the coaching, healing, consulting & transformational industries have the power to change the world in extraordinary ways.
I also believe that as these industries have grown, practitioners have focused more and more on marketing and less and less on mastering their craft to deliver the highest quality sessions, retreats, programs and workshops.
And this needs to change.
Because an industry is only as good as its ability to fully satisfy its customers.
As practitioners, teachers and facilitators, it is our responsibility to be on a continuous journey of mastering our craft and becoming better and better at what we do.
It’s our responsibility to strive towards excellence.
When we do, our businesses grow profoundly. Without so much need for newfangled marketing techniques. This is because when we deliver a superior product, our clients re-sign with us over and over again, we create a referral machine that supports us, and our reputations grow.
And…when we master our transformational, coaching and facilitation skills, we enjoy our lives and our work more, we feel more peace and confidence, and we come to value ourselves deeply.
I learned all of this early on in my career. After an initial 3 slow years in a co-owned business and a subsequent first slow year in my solo business, my practice began to grow by leaps and bounds. Each month I had more clients than the month before. New prospects were finding me easily, many by way of referrals from satisfied clients.
And by the end of my second year, my practice was entirely full with a waiting list, I had raised my rates 4 times over and no one even raised an eyelash at the value, and I was already starting to fill group programs on top of that.
By the end of my third year in business, I had crossed the 6-figure mark on income and that number has gotten higher and higher every year since.
Now, in my 20th official year in business, I am proud to share that I have served thousands and thousands of clients and students around the globe, I have led over 80 retreats, hundreds of workshops and rituals, and numerous long-term masterminds.
I have been able to accomplish all of this and more first and foremost because I consistently do my own soul work, as well as work on my transformational, facilitation, curriculum, Shadow and ritual skills every single day.
I make it a top priority in my business. My #1 goal is always to go above and beyond to co-create the most amazing results with my clients and to support them in the deepest level of transformation possible.
My commitment to coaching and facilitation mastery – and the resulting outstanding products that I deliver – has been my TOP marketing strategy.
It has not only made my reputation….but it has given me a great deal of confidence. And that confidence is what allows me to stand so bold and strong in my marketing and my messaging. I have proven to myself that I can fully stand behind the promises I make.
Over the last 20 years, I have supported countless practitioners to grow their own businesses too… not through extravagant marketing, but instead through quality service delivery.
This is why my mission is teaching master level facilitation and coaching skills to coaches, healers and speakers so they can respond more powerfully to the issues their clients bring to them.

Using my extensive background with Ritual, Archetypes and working with the shadow side of ourselves, my approach to transformation and client results brings wisdom from the past into modern day dynamics. My clients gain a level of skill the majority of their peers don’t have; they become the best of the best at what they do and they experience life-changing personal shifts as they step into this mastery level. This, in turn, positively impacts their businesses as they get proven results that attract more clients and opportunities. I have also successfully shared this training with medical professionals, eating disorder specialists, and therapists.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Art History, which sparked an interest in studying ancient feminine symbols and icons connected to my current work. I apprenticed for over four years in learning the art of Ritual, cycles of life, and how they apply to our goals, dreams, and daily lives.
I live in North Carolina with my two daughters and my wonderful husband (but will always be a New Yorker at heart). I take pride in the energy and focus I put in my parenting (& borrow a lot of skills from my coaching, ritual and facilitation background!). And my most cherished moments in life happen either in nature or with close family and friends who love me.
