What might be different in your business & client What might be different in your business & client work if you could transform the Shadows of Jealousy, Competition and Disempowerment?

None of us are immune from Envy, Comparison, or the feeling or experience that others have power over us. Almost all of us have had the experience of being jealous of someone else… or having someone else be jealous of us.

In our businesses, these energetic patterns emerge in ways that keep us from our most authentic leadership:

• We yearn for the success that we perceive other people have and admire their brilliance without ever fully claiming our own.

• We get stuck in “not good enough,” and fail to launch. Or we constantly reinvent the wheel, abandoning ideas and projects before they have time to take root.

• We don’t trust our own work, and create integrity breaches by claiming others’ work as our own (not because we’re bad… because we’re scared)....

• We worry others will steal our work, and so we become overprotective

• Jealousy runs beneath our admiration. Competition becomes something we fear and have shame about, versus something that can positively motivate us.

But here’s the thing:

When we are willing to look the Shadows of Jealousy and Competition in the face - and alchemize them - a vast amount of energy, empowerment, and positive action is available to all of us.

In a sacred and transformational container, over the course of a 3-Hour, Deeply Interactive Workshop, we will courageously explore how to:

• Uncover the Shadows and unseen origins of your jealous tendencies and behaviors and bring them out of the blindspot

• Look with clarity at how jealousy has impacted your life and business and relationships

• Work on the intellectual, emotional, energetic, and body levels to harness the Shadow of jealousy inside you and transform it into empowered action, clarity, and a deeper sense of purpose

• Learn practices you can use any time to continue transforming jealousy into valuable life force energy

I recently had the pleasure of joining the amazing I recently had the pleasure of joining the amazing Britney Gardner on her Know Like and Trust Show to discuss imposter syndrome and working through fear and resistance.

I'd love for you to have a listen- head over to my linktree to catch it!
EVERYTHING THE TRANSFORMATIONAL INDUSTRY HAS TAUGH EVERYTHING THE TRANSFORMATIONAL INDUSTRY HAS TAUGHT YOU ABOUT COMPETITION IS A LIE

If you’ve been listening to the Coaching, Transformational, or Spiritual Communities or Industries, you’ve heard the advice, the warnings, and the explicatives about how to approach Competition.

They say: No matter what, and under any circumstance: Don’t be competitive!

And, you’ll hear or read things like:
“When you’re competitive, you’re in your lowest level energies”

“You should only collaborate, not compete”

“Competition is for people coming from a scarcity mindset”

“Good”, empowered, and especially spiritual people (particularly women!) are taught that in order to be in their best selves, they cannot and should not exhibit any type of competitive thoughts, feelings or behaviors.

Well….I’d respectfully like to call B.S. on all that and bust the myth that Competition is “bad”.

This myth that there is no room for Competition in an evolved or spiritual life or business is hurting well-meaning entrepreneurs, and can really damage their inner life, their sense of self, their relationships, as well as their outer results.

Let me explain a little more:

The impulse to be Competitive is a normal, natural, powerful impulse that every single human being has access to, and most human beings experience (whether they realize it or not).

The highest & healthiest level of competition energy motivates individuals to keep on reaching their best, and their best, and their best….as they see others achieving their best.

Healthy competition energy inspires individuals to want to improve, to want to create more in aligned ways, to reach their highest potential, and to achieve higher visions for themselves and for the world.

Healthy competition creates respect among competitors and mutual awe and excitement for the expression of true mastery and craft and creation.

We see this all the time in sports, for example. Athletes (for the most part, not including a few outliers) leverage their competitive nature to become stronger, more skillful, and the best they can be.

We see lots of healthy Competition in nature too! It is an essential energy.

Want to join me for deep, magical, archetypal inne Want to join me for deep, magical, archetypal inner work on using the Cinderella Story to unwind the shadow of jealousy?

We all know the story. It’s one of the most enduring and beloved tales of our culture.

It’s easy to hate the wicked stepmother and root for the stepdaughter, banished from grace…

Or…

We could see the truth more deeply.

Because there is so much energetic fodder in the nuance of this formidable tale.

Relationships between women are complicated. We desire sisterhood and deep connection. We want to trust, celebrate and lift up other women.

And… there is a Shadow (always, a shadow).

The shadow is envy… jealousy… competition…distrust…

This is your invitation to deeply explore the archetypes of the Wicked Stepmother and the Lowly Handmaiden in the name of your own healing and evolution.

As practitioners, we expend far too much energy looking at “what SHE is doing…” and wondering why “SHE has the success…”

We yearn for… connection. And yet we act unconsciously from shadow… creating separation.

This impacts so many levels of our experience…

We’ve ALL got a piece of the Wicked Stepmother in our energy body. And we ALL have a piece of the lowly handmaiden.

Taking what isn’t ours (in some cases).
Not allowing what IS ours to be “good enough.”

In our businesses, these energetic patterns emerge in ways that keep us from our most authentic leadership.

We yearn for the success that we perceive other people have, and admire their brilliance without ever fully claiming our own.

We get stuck in “not good enough,” and fail to launch. Or we constantly reinvent the wheel, abandoning ideas and projects before they have time to take root.

We don’t trust our own work, and create integrity breaches by claiming others’ work as our own (not because we’re bad… because we’re scared)...

Jealousy runs beneath our admiration.
Competition becomes something we fear, versus something we relish.

I had a minor surgery on Friday and have spent the I had a minor surgery on Friday and have spent the last days resting, recovering and taking care of myself. A huge shout out to Jon who has taken incredible care of me.

I am overall doing really well and had a much easier recovery than I expected (so so grateful).

There’s actually been something a little magical happening over the week. I went into my surgery - to remove a part of my cervix - preparing and seeing it as a ritual of sorts…a physical manifestation of releasing some things that are truly ready to be released. And these days since the surgery - a liminal space, a corridor of sorts where I am on the other side of the surgery but not back in my everyday life - have become a powerful re-set time. A time to more deeply embody the new habits, a new ways of seeing and being. And also a time to more deeply engage with some old fears that are re-emerging, no doubt because of the new places I’m stretching towards and also because not having work or adulting responsibilities on the schedule is leaving open space to allow me to pay attention more deeply.

Like all transitional phases, I’ve had my high moments this week and my very low moments. Recovery and re-set, I am being reminded, are way more cyclical than linear.

Feeling the aliveness and sacredness in all of it.
BEHIND THE SCENES AT MY SHADOW & ARCHETYPE FACILIT BEHIND THE SCENES AT MY SHADOW & ARCHETYPE FACILITATOR’S RETREAT

Recently I led a special training retreat for Advanced Facilitators to learn how to leverage Shadow and Archetype for greater healing and transformation in their retreats and workshops.

This particular training is one of my favorites and the growth in the room is always astronomical.

One of the reasons I teach this particular training is because I believe it is SO important for coaches, teachers, healers, and workshop leaders to have a firm understanding that in order for their clients to feel fully whole and complete, and in order for their clients to have access to all of their power….they MUST be willing to look at, embrace, and ultimately love ALL parts of themselves.

Not just the pretty parts. Not just the shiny parts. Not just the “acceptable” parts. ALL parts.

Too many people walk through their lives only accepting part of who they are.

Only accepting the “acceptable” parts.

They reject, vilify or ignore their anger or their grief or their destructive impulses or their competitiveness or their deep need of others…etc, etc.

But when you reject these “not-so-shiny” parts of yourself, you effectively stuff important parts of yourself into the shadows where they fester and morph into lower level energies that can’t be harnessed like jealousy and neediness and rage.

Also, when you reject these parts, you are more likely to abuse power or to self-sabotage.

And you never feel truly WHOLE, because you aren’t embracing the whole of who you are.

I never cease to be awe-struck by the women in the room when I lead them through the journey of reclaiming all of who they are, and when they learn how to do this for their clients.

The energy in the room is palpable.

The revelations are some of the most profound.

And the inspiration to go even deeper with their own clients gets activated.

From this retreat, here are just a few examples of transformations I had the honor of guiding and witnessing (there were so many!):
