Resistance is part of human nature. A lot of time Resistance is part of human nature.

A lot of times when we coach and facilitate, we come upon clients and participants who are in a state of resistance. They show up as different Archetypes:

The Victim
The Judge
The Teacher
The Clueless One
etc.

What you want to recognize as the facilitator is this:

Resistance is 9 times out of 10 a form of fear in the coaching/facilitation context....and resistance is a by-product of fear.

When you can really get this, then you don't have to become scared of the Resistance that comes up in the room, and you're better rooted and grounded to be able to leverage it for deeper learning and healing for everyone.
