In order to be not only ethical and trauma-informed in our client work, but also highly effective and transformational coaches and practitioners, it is essential to be able to own up to our mistakes.

We need this on all levels of leadership!

Jon and I just got back from a week in Ireland- a very much needed vacation! So wonderful to leave everything behind for a few days, unplug, and just be fully in the moment discovering new things. And to be with Jon - not as co-parents or house managers, but just as a couple.

I’d been to Ireland once before in my 20s, and it was a thing to notice not only the difference in the country and culture over these decades…but the differences (and similarities!) in me. One thing that’s stayed the same: I love travel and learning about culture and history. So glad to have a hubby who does as well. ❤️

Ethics and Integrity is one of the bedrocks of being a stellar practitioner. You cannot be an exceptional practitioner if your client practices aren’t based in ethics & integrity. And the same is true for building a sustainable business.

As a people and culture, we are holding a lot righ

As a people and culture, we are holding a lot right now.

Multiple ongoing wars around the world. Hurricanes, tornadoes and weather disasters that are devastating. Stressful news cycles and at least here in the U.S., a political culture that can sometimes feel stressful. And that is just scratching the surface of how much each of us and each of our clients are holding at this moment.
Ongoing crisis for such a sustained amount of time – whether it touches us directly or not, and no matter how evolved we are, and what our “attitude” or mindset is – is going to take its toll.

As coaches & practitioners, it’s also so important to hold our clients with special care through difficult times, no matter what kind of work you do.
